Enmore, NSW ? approximately 10 minutes south of the Sydney CBD.

Session Length:

Beginners classes are run during the year on weeknights 6pm-9pm and weekends from 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm. The course involves 7 x 3 hour sessions. Please book in advance to secure your preferred course date. Bookings are essential.

Guidelines:

This course is perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to make their own furniture!

Dress Code:

Casual and comfortable clothing with closed-in shoes are recommended. You may get dirty and dusty. We will provide you with all protective equipment including ear muffs, aprons, dust mask and glasses. You are welcome to bring your own protective equipment if you prefer.

Other Info:

We?ll supply you with light refreshments, tea and coffee. Materials used during the duration of the course may be stored in the workshop. You must take your projects home within four weeks of completing the course.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We operate with a minimum of three and a maximum of six people in the class. Should minimum numbers not be met, we reserve the right to reschedule your experience for later date.

Product Description

We believe the best way to learn the art of wood working is through hands-on classes that are small and fun! This hands-on wood working class is designed for beginners or those who need a wood working ?refresher? course.

During the course, which is held over seven classes, you?ll complete two small furniture projects. The course is designed to teach you some woodworking basics, including how to use hand tools and basic power tools, safety precautions, timber selection and preparation. You can expect to make a pot trivet and a small box with a veneered top and bottom.

All materials and tools are supplied, including wood, glue, sanding paper, finishing oils, aprons, hearing, eye and dust protection.

At the end of the course, you?ll get to take your wood working projects home with you so you can impress your friends and family with your newly-found handiwork skills.
