Hunter Valley, NSW ? approximately two hours north of the Sydney CBD.

Session Length:

This experience is available seven days a week, subject to availability. The duration of your flight will be approximately one hour and the whole ballooning experience will be three hours. You will be staying overnight at the B&B. Check-in is after 3pm and check-out is 11am the next morning.

Guidelines:

You must be able to stand unsupported for one hour and be able to climb in and out of the balloon basket. Women over 12 weeks pregnant are not permitted to fly. We also need to know about any injuries or recent operations before you fly.

Dress Code:

Bring clothes for an overnight stay. During your balloon ride you should wear comfortable, casual clothing (similar to as if you were going hiking), and sturdy footwear. Open-toe shoes are not recommended. Bring your camera, a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle.

Other Info:

You need to sign an indemnity waiver before going on your balloon ride.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. There will be a maximum of 10 guests at the B&B and a minimum of four and a maximum of 16 people in the balloon during your flight.

Product Description

The four-star bed and breakfast offers the very best in comfort and accommodation. Your room will be complete with a queen bed, ensuite, TV, R/C air-conditioning, private external room entrance and internal entrance to the breakfast/common room.

After a relaxing evening in the Hunter Valley, you will arise bright and early for your hot-air balloon flight. It is just an eight minute drive down the road to Cessnock Airport where you will be met by your balloon crew. After a cup of coffee and a safety briefing you will be transported to the launch site.

Once at the launch site you can choose to either help set the balloon up or stand back and watch or take photos. Once the balloon is inflated and standing upright, you will be asked to climb onboard to prepare for lift-off!

Hot-air ballooning is a magical experience. You will be amazed at what you can see from the basket of the balloon. From the air you will look down upon the river and patchwork of local vineyards and forest. It depends on the direction of the wind as to exactly what you will see on the day.

After your flight you will return to the B&B where a continental breakfast will be awaiting you!
